I was born 06.06.66 in New York City , and grew up in Levittown and Garden City on Long Island close to NYC. At the age of 10 we moved to Hammerfest, Norway -The northernmost city in the world. My mother, father and my five_brothers (4 "half"-brothers) are all born in Norway. Since the age of 16 I have been living in southern Norway, in and around the city of Oslo.

I have a degree in archaeology. Though working mostly with land based Nordic_Archaeology, I specialized in Marine and Maritime Archaeology. During my student years I worked as a Diving Instructor for my own Diving school. I have been scuba diving since I was 17 years old.

In 1996 I took an education in Multimedia Production (graphic design, video editing, web and multimedia CD-Rom production). I thought it was a good idea to work with the incorporation of new media in the presentations of somewhat old and stuffy museums.

In 2004 I took a certification in Project Management and later started my own business. My company, "Astrup Multimedia" develops multimedia applications and Info kiosks for museums and other cultural institutes.

I am currently enjoying myself in Oslo , though I often wish God had placed this wonderful city by the Mediterranean coast...
